Helping to improve the way people drive with real time data
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Latam has thought of a mobile application that is able to integrate the consumer experience with their car and travel routes, helping users with important information related to their car and facilitating the way it deals with problems of mobility, economy fuel, maintenance, among others.
This project involved interesting challenges ranging from understanding the possibilities of Fiat cars' information tracking systems to even creating prototypes that communicated with each other via Firebase to demonstrate the integration between the application and the multimedia center.
The Fiat Drive Assistant also acts as a coach to help drivers improve their performance at the wheel, indicating points for improvements related to acceleration, gear shift, braking and decision making related to city traffic. For the more enthusiastic, there is still the possibility to share and compare performances between friends and also with the ideal race according to Fiat's own ranking.
